The NBA Board of Governors are just like you and me

We’ve been hearing all week that the fate of the Sacramento Kings will be decided in New York City by the NBA Board of Governors, but who are the members of the board? It’s tough to find out by looking on the internet, I’ll tell you that much. The closest thing I can find to a definition of what the board even is was on the site hoopedia.nba.com:

The National Basketball Association (NBA) Board of Governors is the management body that oversees the operations of the National Basketball AssociationMicky Arison, Managing General Partner of the Miami Heat, is Chairman of the NBA Board of Governors. He was elected to that post in October 2005.
