A 19-year-old Sacramento man with 17-outstanding warrants for failure to pay the Light Rail fare was arrested Friday night when a Sacramento police officer found him having sex with a minor behind an abandoned car dealership.
According to court records, Aubree Lauren Malone has been caught riding the Light Rail without a fare at least 17 times by the Sacramento Regional Transit District. Each time, he was given a ticket for violation of Penal Code 640, and signed a written promise to appear in court. Malone never showed up to any of his promised court dates, causing 17 warrants to be issued for his arrest.
Malone was allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old girl behind a building near Franklin Boulevard and Florin Road around 7:00 p.m. on Friday when officers spotted him. He is now facing statutory rape charges as well. His first court date is set for next Wednesday.
