Today is a notable day in the young history of this website, and I would be neglecting my duties as site editor if I did not share them with you.

First off, we published our 100th original article today!  Not too bad for going live in late May and only having three contributing authors if you ask me.

We also surpassed 4,000 page views this evening!  That’s an absolutely astonishing figure when you consider we have no ad budget whatsoever.

Earlier today we begin a partnership with Sacramento Connect, an online community of local blogs that is managed by the Sacramento Bee.  You’ll start to see links to our articles on sacbee.com and other partner websites.  I for one am very humbled to be a part of this new network!

And last but not least, we now have over 350 followers on twitter! Woo hoo!

I can’t say it enough, thank you to our readers and fans for your continuing support. Without your ongoing interest, we wouldn’t be celebrating these major milestones tonight.
